Enterprise is another word for a for-profit business or company, but it is most often associated with entrepreneurial ventures.

Enterprise can be big or small, local or international. The goal is to earn and reach out to the maximum number of customers. These enterprises can be into manufacturing, trading or both. In India, there are small scale enterprises, mini, small and medium scale enterprises, medium scale enterprises and large scale enterprises.
The products that we use, can be a part of any of these. They can be either incorporated in a single room house or a multi-storeyed building. They have equal importance in building our nation’s economy.
